Such situations in- clude calm and sunny days when fish are wary – when there’s heaps of snot weed around which fouls lures and stops them swimming – and on busy days with plenty of water traffic.
It pays to mix it up be- tween yabbies and lures to find what’s working best on any given day.

Drive the boat into the lagoon at the south- west corner of Wave- break, and yabbies can be pumped along the shoreline at high tide up to 1.2m.
