Our journeys have taken us along the coastline, across to Kurumba and out to the western Queens- land border town of Camooweal.
I was also keen to catch a few waves and partake in a spot of beach fishing.

Travelling the four- wheel-drive track sim- ply became a pleasure each day as we mean- dered through the trop- ical beach vegetation.
Tonia then searched the maps looking for a coastal retreat and sug- gested we check out Deepwater National Park, just south of Ag- nes Water. www.bnb shing.com.au
