We are very excited to invite you to our first ever Summer Safe Boating Open Day here at our base on Seaworld Drive, Main Beach!
The open day will be on from 6.00am until midday on Saturday 27th October 2018 at 40-44 Seaworld Drive Main Beach and is a joint initiative presented in partnership with Maritime Safety Queensland, Gold Coast Water Police and Queensland Boating and Fisheries Patrol.
It’s a FREE event, open to the public and is all about providing advice and awareness about the waterways and making sure you are ‘Summer Ready’ for the boating season ahead. Some of the excitement on the day will include;
- FREE 10 minute boat and equipment check
- Lifejacket demos
- Flare demos
- Fun kids activities
- Sausage sizzle
Plus it’s a great chance to have a chat with a range of government and volunteer organisations that help to keep you safe on the water. Joining us on the day will be the Australian Maritime Safety Authority, Volunteer Marine Rescue, Australian Volunteer Coast Guard, City of Gold Coast Lifeguard Service, SEQ Water, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, and Surf Life Saving Queensland.
