Northside Marine wins McKeegan Award for Outstanding Achievement

NORTHSIDE Marine, located in Boondall, Queensland won the Stacer McKeegan Award for Outstanding Achievement for 2015-2016 at a recent Stacer conference on the Gold Coast.

In 2015, Northside Marine celebrated its 50th anniversary as a successful marine dealership.

The Stacer McKeegan Award for Outstanding Achievement aims to highlight Stacer dealerships that have hit impressive milestones or targets as a marine dealership. This is not the first Stacer award for Northside Marine, as over the past five years the dealership has received four awards including National Dealer of the Year.

Stacer national account manager Drew Jackson said Northside Marine’s successful long service in the marine industry makes the business a worthy winner of the award.

“In 2015, Northside Marine celebrated its 50th anniversary with a massive in-house boat show,” he said.

“The attention to detail and enthusiasm of the staff at the show proved why Northside Marine is such a successful dealership.

“The dealership’s support of local community groups is outstanding; with the support of Stacer and various suppliers, Northside Marine has raised close to $10,000 for Camp Quality through the sale of exclusive fishing shirts.

“I would like to congratulate Northside Marine on their win; they have been Stacer dealers since 2001 and have always displayed extreme professionalism across their dealership, staff and service.”

Northside Marine has been a family run business since 1965 and current dealer principal Greg Nickerson is the second generation of the Nickerson family to be at the helm. Greg credits Northside Marine’s success to their dedicated and experienced team and selling high-quality products.

“With staff of 35 people we have over 450 years of marine industry experience, which helps us to provide customers with the best product for their needs,” he said.
