There will be plenty of interactive hands-on activities, performances from the industry’s best, educational sessions and talks, action-packed stunts as well as a dedicated Kids Terrain area to keep the whole family busy. For children who have energy to burn, the Kids Terrain will be located in the boating section of the show and will feature exciting rides such as an inflatable monster truck, bungee trampolines, water balls and jungle jeeps, costing from $5 per ride.
The ever-exciting Action Arena will return to the show in 2016 and will live up to its name with a number of thrilling and colourful performances to get hearts racing. Every day on the Action Arena visitors will have the chance to see quad bikes battling it out in races across the track, side by side buggies rushing around, The Springs 4×4 Time Trials entertaining the crowd and amazing skills on show in a Micky Thompson Tyre Changing Competition.
From the Off Road Rush team, the ‘Off Road Buggy’ and new ‘Trophy Truck’ will also be whipping their way around the Action Arena across the three show days.
For those who wish to grow and expand their culinary skills, the Engel Australia Cooking Stage is a must. Learn how to make quick, simple and delicious outback meals with nothing but a barbecue and how to fillet and cook a fish. Featuring ex-AFL legend and host of The Great Australian Doorstep Spida Everitt, along with his wife Sheree, the stage will teach show visitors how to whip up a tasty meal for your family while camping or on the road. Joining Spida on the various stages will be cricketing legend Andrew Symonds, John ‘Roothy’ Rooth, Rick O’Brien and Paul Burt. Engel Australia will also be bringing along Ernie Dingo and David Hodge to help take your campfire cooking skills up a notch.
