SEQWATER is asking you to play it safe and show off your best #safey – a selfie with a focus on safety. Share your #safey with Seqwater before April 10, 2016 and you could win either a GoPro Hero4 Session camera or a $1000 Outdoor Adventure Card from BCF.
Seqwater CEO Peter Dennis said visitor safety was a priority across southeast Queensland’s dams, lakes and parks. “We can’t be everywhere to help you so we rely on visitors to play it safe by being prepared and being mindful of others enjoying the great outdoors,” Mr Dennis said. “While we want you to be safe, it’s also important that you have fun and enjoy yourself. “That’s why we want you to share a #safey of you having fun while playing it safe. “The #safey photo can be of yourself, family, friends, a sporting team or community group. “The most important criteria is that you are demonstrating safe behaviour.”
Mr Dennis said the Seqwater website contained a number of helpful tips for playing it safe. “If you need inspiration, check out our information online,” he said. “Explore our interactive recreation map to choose a location for your photoshoot and get creative. “Upload your #safey at www.safey.com.au along with a few words explaining how you’re playing it safe. “Each week we’ll judge a winner based on creativity and ingenuity. “A GoPro will be awarded weekly and a BCF gift card awarded fortnightly – it’s that easy!”
