Soy and Sesame Chicken Wings


  • 12 large chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp brandy
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp fresh garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds


  1. Combine honey, soy sauce, brandy, sesame oil, ginger and garlic. Stir together to make marinade.
  2. Place wings in a container. Cover with marinade for 1 hour in refrigerator.
  3. Pre heat the barbecue to 200C. Place wings on oven tray and bake for 20 minutes.
  4. Turn the wings and baste for a further 20 minutes until brown and crisp.
  5. Garnish wings with sesame seeds and serve.

Prep time: 75 min
Cook time: 40 min
