Fisheries Officers recently identified two males fishing within the wreck reserve from a small fibreglass vessel. The vessel was inspected at Terrigal Haven boat ramp a short time later, as a result of the inspection the males were each issued with a $500 penalty infringement notice. expensive infringement
The two men elected to have the penalty infringement notices heard at court and the matter proceeded at Gosford Local Court on Wednesday 6th April 2022. Both males were convicted, fined for the offences and ordered to pay professional costs. The pair were ordered to pay a combined total of $4750. expensive infringement
